Brighton Toy and Model Museum is a museum displaying over 10,000 exhibits of toys and models set over 4000 sq ft beneath Brighton railway station.
Amongst the exhibits are collections of model locomotives and accessories and two large model train layouts in 00 and 0 gauge with some of the models and accessories on display being very rare or one of a kind items. There are also collections of soft toys, construction toys, toy cars and puppets. Toy makers featured include Dinky, Hornby, Corgi, Bing, Bassett-Lowke, Marklin, Tri-Ang, Meccano and Steiff.
Other toys on display include dolls and doll houses with furniture, a working mutoscope, radio-controlled aeroplanes, puppet theatres, farm play-sets and penny arcade games. The museum also contains a Brighton visitor information point with maps of Brighton and tourist information.
