Paradise Park is a visitor attraction with museums, gardens and children's play activities in Newhaven on the East Sussex coast.
The Planet Earth museum features exhibits and displays relating the development of our planet and it's lifeforms and includes a collection of fossils, rocks and minerals and a dinosaur garden displaying life-size dinosaur models.
In addition to the dinosaur garden there is also the Paradise garden with water features of small lakes, fish ponds, waterfalls and fountains with a history trail to follow with models of Sussex landmarks. There is also the glasshouse gardens with zoned areas including an Oriental garden with koi carp pond, a desert section and a section containing fruit trees and Australian flora.
There is also a local Maritime museum with photographs, models and artefacts relating to the maritime history of Newhaven and the surrounding area.
The children's activities include an indoor play area featuring a brightly coloured play frame with slides, scramble netting, tubes and balls, plus a separate under 5's soft play area. Outdoor children's adventure playground with slides and climbing structures. Triassic Treetops wood and rope climbing structure. Miniature train ride around the gardens. Nine hole crazy golf course. Indoor play centre caters for children's parties.
