Oliver Cromwell's House is a historical house that was once the home of Oliver Cromwell in Ely town centre in Cambridgeshire.
This attraction is a timber-framed two storey house, part of which dates back to the 13th century and was once the home of Oliver Cromwell. The house interiors have been presented as they might have been during the time in which Oliver lived at the house with replica furniture and décor of the period. Most items, where not otherwise indicated, can be picked up and examined.
Visitors can see the kitchen with examples of things they might have eaten. There is also a video presentation about Oliver Cromwell and his family to view and an exhibition about the Civil war.
Tickets for this house in conjunction with Ely museum are also available. Discounted entry for English Heritage members. Costumed guided tours available for an additional cost for groups. Dressing up activities and trail to follow for children.
