Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a rescue centre for injured or stranded seal pups found along British beaches situated in the village of Gweek in Cornwall.
Set in 40 acres of countryside and around the Helford River, this mainly outdoor attraction primarily serves to rescue and rehabilitate seals for release back into the wild. Visitors can see some of the rescued seals in the seal rescue hospital and see different species of seal in the outdoor seal pools, some with underwater viewing areas.
In addition to seals, the park also features other water creatures in the interactive Rockpool experience, an otter creek area, a sea lion pool and a colony of Humboldt penguins. There are also a few ponies, goats and sheep kept at the park. The park has daily scheduled feeding times and animal talks, plus a wild woods nature trail and a Pirate-themed children's play area. A Safari bus can take you around the park from April to October. Children's birthday parties catered for.
