Bridgnorth Cliff Railway

Bridgnorth Cliff Railway is an inclined railway in the town of Bridgnorth in Shropshire.

This attraction consists of electric funicular railway cars running up and down a cutting made into 111 ft high sandstone cliff which separates the upper and lower parts of Bridgnorth town. The cars replaced the 200 or so steps up the cliff until 1892 when the railway line was opened.
