The Tar Tunnel is a 200 year old man-made tunnel in the Ironbridge gorge in Shropshire.

Visitors can see the naturally occurring bitumen seeping through the brick walls of these 200 year old man-made tunnels. Within walking distance from the Coalport China museum.
