Box Hill is an area of countryside which is part of the North Downs near Dorking in Surrey.
This outdoor attraction is part of the North Downs, a beauty spot well-known for it's lovely views, and has areas of woodland, chalk downland and meadows. Some of it's historical points of interest include Bronze Age burial mounds, a Roman road and a Victorian hill fort. There is also a Discovery Zone within the shop about the area's wildlife. Walks around Box Hill are available to download free from the National Trust website.
