Warkworth Castle and Hermitage is the remains of a 12th century castle and the Hermitage, a medieval chapel carved out of cliff rock, near Amble in Northumberland.

The castle is perched on a hilltop in the middle of a loop of the river Coquet in the medieval town of Warkworth and less than a mile from the coast. The Great Tower (the keep) is 3-storeys high and in the shape of a cross and contains the Dukes rooms. Below the Great Tower is the Lion tower which has a display of heraldic sculpture and leads to the Bailey residence in which is a great hall. Surrounding the bailey are the curtain walls with towers and a gatehouse. The Shakespeare play Henry IV had parts set in Warkworth castle. Audio tour included in admission price.

The Hermitage lies on the other side of the river to the castle and is only accessible by boat. It was constructed around 1400 AD and contains a worn, almost life-size nativity scene.
