The Higgins Bedford is a local and natural history museum and art gallery based in a historic brewery and a Victorian family home, in the town of Bedford.
Museum exhibits include the people gallery highlighting important individuals associated with Bedford and the area, the Bedford gallery about how the town came into being and grew, a gallery of archaeological finds from the area, a gallery about the Higgins family, a Design gallery, the Edward Bawden gallery (influential artist) and the William Burges collection (architect). There are also other exhibitions which change throughout the year. The attraction features many hands-on features and multi-sensory experiences throughout their displays and they also have dressing-up and craft activities for children.
