Hamerton Zoo Park is a 25 acre walk-through animal attraction between Peterborough and Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire.
Specialising in rare and unusual creatures the zoo features many animals you won't commonly see in other zoos. Some of the bigger animals you can see include cheetahs, tigers (including a white Bengal tiger), jaguarundi, oncilla, serval, maned wolves, black-backed jackal, wallabies, anteater, aardwolf, zebras, reindeer, camels and sloth. There are also some farm type animals including donkeys, sheep, alpacas and pygmy goats. Primates include lemurs, howler monkeys, Goeldi's monkeys, marmosets, tamarins and gibbons. Smaller mammals include corsac foxes, meerkats, mongoose, binturong, North American raccoons, chipmunk, squirrels, pudu, bats, capybara, viscacha and potoroos. Birds including flamingos, cassowarys, ibis, owls, kookaburra, parrots, rhea and vultures. Reptiles include lizards, snakes and tortoises. There are also two children's play areas and gardens to view.
