Glasgow Science Centre is an indoor attraction on a purpose built development and includes four major attractions: a science mall, a planetarium, an IMAX theatre and the Glasgow tower.
The site comprises of three main buildings: the Glasgow Tower (Scotland's tallest freestanding building), the IMAX theatre and the science mall which also houses the planetarium. The science mall contains three floors of interactive science-themed exhibits and displays and a theatre for shows, plus the Planetarium which is said to be one of the best in Europe. The IMAX theatre (with Scotland's largest IMAX screen) features IMAX presentations either in 2D or 3D and provides an immersive visual and audio experience. Entry to the various attractions are priced separately.
