Exeter's Underground Passages are 14th and 15th century underground passageways running beneath Exeter city centre in Devon.
The medieval passageways date from the 14th and 15th centuries and were dug out to facilitate bringing drinking water into the city. The indoor attraction includes a ten minute film presentation followed by a 25 minute guided tour of the vaulted passages and access to the Interpretation centre with an interactive exhibition. Highlights of the exhibit include a model of the passages, archaeological artefacts and a video fly-through of the tunnels. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
