Captain Cook and Staithes Heritage Centre is a museum about Captain Cook and about the local history of Staithes located in Staithes on the North Yorkshire coast.

Staithes is a small fishing village and is where the explorer James Cook lived as a boy during the mid 1700's. The museum is sited in the village's old Methodist Chapel and occupies 2 floors. The ground floor contains exhibits and memorabilia detailing the history of Staithes, it's local industries such as fishing and mining and important residents. The upper floor is dedicated to James Cook and features recreations of rooms and a street scene from the period when he lived there. Exhibits include many original artefacts and includes objects such as model ships, medals, letters, coins, paintings, books and crockery.
