Bury Transport Museum is a museum telling the history of transport in the North West area in Bury, Lancashire.
Housed in the Castlecroft Goods Warehouse dating from 1848, which went through a £3M refurbishment part funded by a Lottery grant. This mainly indoor attraction is volunteer run and features interactive hands-on galleries with historic artefacts, memorabilia and vintage vehicles including steam rollers, trams, steam locomotives, buses, tractors, road transport, bicycles and horse-drawn vehicles. Free tour for groups of 10 or more by prior arrangement. Craft workshops.
