Buckfast Butterflies and Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary is a butterfly house and otter sanctuary located by the river Dart in Buckfastleigh, just south of Dartmoor National Park.
The attraction has free flying butterflies in a rainforest atmosphere with exotic flowers and foliage, waterfalls, ponds and bridges and also 3 species of otter, to see with an underwater viewing area. They also have some red eared terrapins and some leaf cutter ants to see. Daily scheduled feeding times.
