Biddulph Grange Garden is a grade 1 listed garden created from plants gathered around the world by James Bateman horticulturist who lived in the 1800s.
The gardens are located about 7 miles north of Stoke on Trent and are now maintained and developed by the National Trust. Many of the gardens are themed on an area of the world such as the Chinese garden, with it's willow pattern design, Great Wall and dragon parterre. There is also a Himalayan glen, an Italian court garden and an Egyptian garden. Other features to see include a kitchen garden, topiary, the oldest surviving golden larch in Britain, a stumpery and orchard and a lime avenue. There is also a woodland walk.
