Bekonscot Model Village is an outdoor attraction with miniature buildings and landscapes in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
First opened to the public in 1929 and visited many times by the Queen and family, Bekonscot model village and railway features animated model townscapes set during the 1930s.
The six villages are set amidst decorative planting and include such features as houses, shops, hospitals, schools, workplaces, farms, water features, a racecourse, a zoo, a castle, a windmill, coal mines, docks, vehicles, an aerodrome and thousands of people and animals.
Running through the towns and landscape is also a guage 1 model railway. There is also a 7.25” gauge miniature railway, a children's playground and some self-drive model boats (additional charge). Caters for children's birthday parties.
