Ashridge Estate is a countryside estate covering 5000 acres on the borders of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and along the ridge of the Chiltern Hills.
It features woodlands, chalk downs and commons and is managed by the National Trust. Ashridge house, a 19th century mansion in the estate is privately owned and not available for viewing. There is a grade II listed monument to the Duke of Bridgewater also located on the estate. Maps available at the visitor centre detailing many trails you can walk, cycle or horse ride on.
- Visitor centre houses the Brownlow cafe serving light lunches and afternoon teas and a gift shop.
